I like the project based stuff in Ravelry. I imagine each plant could be a "project" that could have photos, seed type similar to thread stashes, and a progress bar from planting to harvest. I guess my focus is pretty vegie focused, but fruit trees etc could have "milestones" or sub projects for each year? It would be handy to have reminders for stuff like fertilise with worm tea every two weeks - I forget all the time.
