Ooh, starting to get members, awesome!

I thought it might be good to do a quick intro thread. Let's do it like this:

Low tide gardening for me at the moment, so only what grows on our trees. So lemons, grapefruit (in quantities _far_ exceeding our requirements!), plums and mulberries. Also, my son is currently harvesting baby carrots (he's thinning them gradually, so some of his 'harvest' has been matchstick sized... but they're getting slightly bigger now:-) ) And we've got coriander, parsley, thyme, and there's rosemary up the street.
I've long been interested in producing more of our food, and have experimented at times... But it is something that benefits from community information.

What does "low tide gardening" mean? Is that a thing?

Not a 'thing' as such, just a description:-) I've had times of my life where I've had a lot more active gardening... several vegie patches (although, not to sound _too_ proficient, they didn't all do much!), and I've been paying a lot of attention to the garden... this stage (kids, including very small ones) I don't have so much time to invest, so I'm simply reaping the benefit of (mostly the previous home owner's) planting:-) The Mulberry is the only one of my tree planting to actually be producing (although, we have hopes of the limes this year!)
